Leah serves on the Iowa Hospital Association Board of Directors, American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board, Fort Dodge Betterment Association along with the Fort Dodge Growth Alliance and the Athletics for Education and Success boards.We understand that illnesses and injuries don't always occur during regular business hours. She is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). She went on to receive her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Des Moines University. Leah began her career as a registered nurse receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to joining UnityPoint Health, Leah served as President and CEO of Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City, Iowa. She then became the Vice President of Clinical Operations for UnityPoint Health – Sioux City and was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer and held that position for three years. Leah began her career at UnityPoint Health in 2013 as the Vice President of Rural Development for the Fort Dodge and Sioux City Markets. In addition to her Fort Dodge leadership responsibilities, she also served as interim Market President for UnityPoint Health – Sioux City for two years. Leah Glasgo is the Market President for UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge and has held this position since January 2019. She is the founder of the Helping Educated and Link the Homeless (HEALTH) Program, a street medicine and case management program which has served over 3000 people experiencing homelessness in Dane County, Wisconsin. She was elected as President of the Medical Staff and served as the Chair of the Medical Executive and Medical Peer Review Oversight Committees at Meriter Hospital. Cate was also a member of the Board of Directors for Meriter Health Services and Sustain Dane. She served as an at-large Trustee on the UnityPoint Health System Board of Directors for 8 years. She practices as a hospitalist at Meriter Hospital and has been recognized several times as a Top Doctor in both hospital medicine and hematology. She also has a Master’s in Medical Management from Carnegie-Mellon University. She completed her internal medicine residency and hematology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She is a collaborative leader who has dedicated her career to building programs with a focus on reducing clinical care variation and improving clinician efficiency.Ĭate received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Wisconsin. She has previously served as medical director of the following teams: UnityPoint Health Inpatient Medicine Service Line, UnityPoint Clinic Hospitalist Program Development, Meriter Antithrombotic Service and Meriter Hospital Medicine program. Ranheim also currently serves as Vice President of Clinical Integration, where she oversees Clinical Service Lines, Clinical Service Groups, Virtual Care and the Clinical Effectiveness Program. In this role, she leads our provider workforce with focus on quality of care, patient experience, safety, care coordination and service line development. Cate Ranheim serves as the interim Chief Medical Officer for UnityPoint Health.
